The Right Accessories for Paint Protection, Make it More Fun & Easier

It would be incredibly nice if it were possible to treat your car with paint protection without using any accessory products. Unfortunately, they all require some form of accessory to complete the paint protection application.

In this category, you will find all the products that I believe are relevant and necessary for you to treat your car.

Preparation is Important

It is very important that the car is prepared to receive paint protection. For the best experience, it is recommended that you perform a paint cleanse, meaning you remove impurities that cannot be removed by a regular car wash.

It is also important to degrease it afterwards, as rust and tar removers are chemical-based and leave a little oil or grease on the car's paint. Here, you can advantageously use Scan Inspection Spray from Shiny Garage.

The cleaner the surface is when you treat it with paint protection, the better adhesion it will get, and thus the longest possible durability of the product.

Applicator

There are several different types of applicators, but common to all of them in our range is that they are made of high quality and, no matter which one you choose, give you the opportunity to achieve a fantastic result.

For Car Wax & Sealant, I recommend Pearl Applicator or Eagle Applicator.

For Ceramic Coating, I recommend Ultra No Soak Applicator or Pearl Applicator.

Microfiber

When choosing which type of microfiber cloth you need, you should also consider what it will be used for, as they each have their advantages. Although most can be used for everything, there are certainly things they are better at than others.

If it is to be used to remove car wax or sealant, it is recommended to choose a cloth with a slightly high GSM, but all the cloths can easily be used. I myself love to use either Eagle Edgeless 500 or Premium FTW from The Rag Company for exactly this purpose.

If we are talking about Ceramic Coating, I will always say that The Pearl or Edgeless Pearl are the perfect candidates; they are both built with a construction that is incredibly good at spreading and removing coating.

If it is a liquid car wax or sealant, I would say that a cloth like Premium FTW wins my heart. I have used it incredibly many times when I have used everything from Bead Maker to Defender and Spray Wax.
