Tire Shine Applicator
You can use any type of applicator to apply tire shine or tire dressing without any problems. However, most of them are completely flat and therefore do not have a protective handle to prevent you from getting tire shine on yourself.
Therefore, I always recommend that you choose the tire applicator from Shiny Garage , so that you avoid getting greasy fingers.
If you have tires with extra low profile, you can use Pitaspo from Soft99, as it is specially designed for very low profile tire sidewalls.
Applicator for Car Wax and Paint Sealer
Whether you are going to treat your car with car wax or paint sealant, you need an applicator that is soft, comfortable and, most importantly, does not make any scratches in the car's paint. Whether you choose a Pearl , Ultra No Soak or Eagle Applicator , they can all be used.
Simply dab it into your car wax or sealer and spread it over the surface of the car. However, I would not recommend Ultra No Soak unless it is a liquid car wax or sealer.
Applicator for Ceramic Coating
The car is polished and needs to be treated with Ceramic Coating. If you have ever experienced an applicator going wrong, fear not, because with a coating applicator from The Rag Company, you will avoid the problems that can occur with the cheap applicators that often come with a ceramic coating.
One of the big problems with the small round applicators that often come with it is that they are very thin and don't have a large surface area to distribute the pressure. Even if you are careful, it is almost impossible not to press a little incorrectly. By distributing the pressure, you reduce the risk of small fine ''micro scratches'', which can look like a greasy layer afterwards.
One of the big challenges with applicators is that they suck up the liquid, i.e. the ceramic coating. Since coating is not the cheapest product in car care, you also want it to last as long as possible.
That's why The Rag Company has developed Ultra No Soak , which has a layer underneath its microfiber surface that prevents liquid from entering the core. This way you avoid using unnecessary coating to make your applicator damp.
So in short - If you need to coat your car, use an Ultra No Soak applicator and save on the coating.
