Washing Gloves & Washing Sponges - The last half for the car wash
Like many other car care products, there are an incredible number of variants that, in short, do the same thing, but in their own way. The same can be said for washing gloves and washing sponges.
There is no wrong one to use, as it is all a matter of what you prefer.
So is there anything that is better than anything else?
They each have their own advantages, but they have in common that they will get your car clean, and in a safe way. The question is, do you want one that gives you more security, in terms of the softness or thickness of the wash mitt, or a wash sponge that can be used for both rinse-free and traditional car shampoo?
Which washing glove or washing sponge is the right one for rinse-free?
You can use all the different variants I offer in the shop. However, they each have their own advantages, and some of the things are unfortunately also related to the price.
If you want the best, then it is undoubtedly the Ultra Black Sponge from The Rag Company, it can be used for both rinse-free car washes and traditional car washes, and it does it really well.
If you're more of a wash mitt type, the Ultra Wash Mitt is a great way to wash your car, and I've used it countless times to wash cars with both leave-in shampoo and regular shampoo. Its surface means you don't have to go over the same area multiple times to get it properly clean, which is also one of the reasons I'm a fan of it.
If you want to be cheap but still be okay, then the Chenille Wash Mitt is definitely not something you should look down on, because it does the job incredibly well, and it's really cheap.
Which wash mitt or sponge should I use for car shampoo?
The short answer, Ultra Wash Mitt . It's relatively cheap and gives you a really good contact surface, and it's also good at removing dirt from the surface, and with its microfiber construction it also pulls the dirt in towards its core, so you're not just pushing the dirt around on your car's paint.
You can certainly use the Ultra Black Sponge together with car shampoo, I just thought that the Ultra Wash Mitt makes more sense, and it's even cheaper, so ''what's not to like?''.
If you jump back and forth between using rinse-free and car shampoo, I can easily understand wanting to have just one thing to wash with, and then the Ultra Black Sponge makes more sense.
Just like Rinsefree, the Chenille Wash Mitt is not a wash mitt that you should look down on, it works, it's cheap, but I personally prefer the Ultra Wash Mitt, and it's purely a matter of taste.
