Choose the right paint sealant the first time
A paint sealer creates a protective layer on your car's paint that protects against UV rays, bird droppings, insect stains, rust, tar and dirt. This protection ensures that it stays shinier and cleaner for longer, compared to leaving it unprotected.
You will still experience tar and rust build up on your car's paint, but it will take longer than if it is left without any protection.

Which varnish sealer should I choose?
Paint sealants come in several varieties, and each type has its own advantages. It depends on your needs and budget. Paint sealants can be divided into these categories:
- Paint sealer with and without wax (hybrid)
- Wet sealer
- Spray sealant
What is paint sealing and what does it do?
Paint sealant is an intermediate layer of protective coating for your car. It differs from wax and ceramic coating by offering a good balance between protection and ease of use.
-
Wax: Provides protection for approximately 1–2 months.
-
Paint sealer: Can provide protection from 1 to 12 months, depending on the type you choose. For example, Wet Protector from Shiny Garage provides 1-2 months of protection, while Fusso Coat from Soft99 protects for up to 12 months.
-
Ceramic coating: Provides a minimum of 12 months of protection, but requires extra preparation and more careful application.
If it's really going to be crazy, then we're over to Ceramic Coating, and there it's a minimum of 12 months of protection, but it's also a completely different league in terms of how you approach it, but in short... It's paint sealing that has turned the speedometer back to 300.
Which Paint Sealer is the Easiest?
The easiest paint sealant is undoubtedly a spray sealer. It only requires that the car is clean, then you spray it directly onto the paint and spread it with a microfiber cloth. Then wipe with a dry cloth.
What is Wet Sealer?
A wet sealer is easy to use, but requires a pressure washer and foam lance. Once the car is washed, mix the wet sealer (e.g. Shiny Garage Ceramic Foam ) into the foam lance and spray it all over the car, including the paint, glass and rims. Rinse the car thoroughly and dry it with a microfiber towel.
Should I choose a paint sealer with or without wax?
This is undoubtedly a difficult question, but it depends a lot on what you are looking for. In our range we only have wax varnish, and it is actually my favorite if I have to choose a varnish that is in hard form, i.e. wax form.
In my opinion, it is a fantastic product and has also become incredibly popular as it really does give bang for the buck. You will hardly find a paint sealer that provides as long-lasting protection, makes water bead up and allows for as many treatments as Soft99 Fusso Coat does.
Fusso Coat was my first introduction to Soft99, and I can only say good things about it. If you are already into hard wax, this is the product for you.
