Preparation is important

It is very important that the car is prepared for paint protection. To get the best experience, it is recommended that you give it a paint cleaner, which removes impurities that cannot be removed by a regular car wash.

It is also important to degrease it afterwards, as rust and tar removers are chemical based and have some oil or grease that is left on the car's paint. Here you can use Scan Inspection Spray from Shiny Garage to your advantage.

The cleaner the surface is when you treat it with paint protection, the better adhesion it will have, and therefore the longest possible durability of the product.

Applicator

There are several different types of applicators, but what all of them have in common is that they are made of high quality, and no matter which one you choose, they give you the opportunity to get a fantastic result.

For Car Wax & Paint Sealer I recommend Pearl Applicator or Eagle Applicator.

For Ceramic Coating I recommend the Ultra No Soak Applicator or Pearl Applicator.

Microfiber

When choosing which type of microfiber cloth you need, you should also think about what it will be used for, as they each have their own advantages, although most can be used for everything, there are definitely things that they are better for than others.

If you are going to use it to remove car wax or paint sealant , it is recommended to choose a cloth with a slightly higher GSM, but any of the cloths can be used. I personally love using either the Eagle Edgeless 500 or the Premium FTW from The Rag Company for this very purpose.

If we are talking about Ceramic Coating , however, I would say to everyone that The Pearl or Edgeless Pearl is the perfect candidate, they are both built with a construction that is incredibly good at spreading and removing coating.

If it's a liquid car wax or paint sealant , I would say that a cloth like Premium FTW wins my heart, I've used it countless times, when I've used everything from Bead Maker to Defender and Spray Wax.
