Polishing Accessories
Here you will find all the necessary accessories for polishing your car. Just as it is important to have the right equipment to polish, it is at least equally important to have the right accessories to help you on the right path.
Microfiber cloths
The most effective and safest way to remove polish is to use a proper quality microfiber cloth, and The Rag Company has no doubt got it right.
Whether you prefer a dense cloth with a low GSM, or whether you want one with longer fibers that is incredibly soft and high GSM, we have the right cloth for you.
It is especially important when wiping after polish that it is a proper cloth. If you have ever experienced micro scratches after wiping, it may be that the cloth was not of good enough quality, or the right one for the task.
I've tried that, and it's definitely annoying!
''The secret sauce''
Although it is not necessarily a ''must have'' to create the perfect polish, there is a large fan base around the use of Rinseless , i.e. rinse-free shampoo, to remove the polish.
I'm a huge fan of the method myself, and you can benefit from polishing several panels at a time, then use your favorite leave-in shampoo, and dry with a microfiber towel.
Using this method is also super easy to remove the polish, especially if it is a little extra sticky. It is also the safest method, in my personal opinion, as you are not rubbing a dry microfiber cloth over the surface.
For surfaces where polishing pads are not suitable
It is not always possible to get the polishing pad, which is why microfiber applicators exist, and they are fantastic for an incredible number of things, including polishing.
Simply put your favorite polish on the applicator and go. If there's no room for it, you can always use a microfiber cloth.
