What car wash products should I get?
If you are new to car care, it can quickly seem like a lot of the same products, and become very confusing. That is why I have also made sure that there is a thorough description of separate categories within the different products.
In this category, you can see everything that has to do with car wash products, and if you are looking specifically for a car shampoo or pre-wash & snowfoam, you can simply go directly to that category.
But if you want to see what the entire car wash category has to offer, you can just stay here and see what's there.
You are always welcome to write via live chat, or at kontakt@bachsbilpleje.shop , and you will probably get help and advice on what suits you exactly.
What do I need for hand car washing?
You need slightly different products, and there are actually two ways to wash a car by hand. Those that use traditional car shampoo, and those that use Rinseless, i.e. rinse-free shampoo.
Although many of the same accessory products are used, there are differences between them, and therefore what I suggest you need if you choose one over the other is also slightly different.
But roughly speaking, 2-3 wash buckets, a good wash mitt, car shampoo and a good microfiber towel from The Rag Company to dry off when you're done. We also can't forget a rim brush and rim cleaner.
What do I need for Rinseless Car Wash?
Here is my list of car care products that I recommend you use with a rinse-free car wash. You can of course replace the rim cleaner with rinse-free shampoo, but be aware that this can lead to faster accumulation of rust, i.e. brake dust, on the rims.
You can also just use 1 wash bucket, but be aware that this requires you to use microfiber cloths to wash your rims, and that when you take them out of your wash bucket, they do not come back into it.
- 2 Wash buckets (1 for paint, and 1 for rims)
- 1 Wash mitt or wash sponge
- 1-2 Microfiber Towels
- 1 Rim brush or 4 microfiber cloths (for the rims)
- Leave-in shampoo
- Rim cleaning
What do I need for a traditional car wash at home?
There are a few more accessory products for a traditional car wash at home, compared to a rinse-free, and that's also why I recommend rinse-free, as you don't have to store as many things, and thus don't think ''Oh my god, do I have to spend 10-15 minutes dragging it all out again?''
It's entirely up to you how you want to wash your car, it's just like so many other things, some people like pepperoni on their pizza, others don't.
Here is the list of products I would recommend:
- 2-3 Wash buckets (2 for paint, and 1 for rims)
- 1 Wash mitt
- 1-2 Microfiber Towels
- 1 Rim brush
- Car shampoo
- Rim cleaning
