Microfiber for the car - Only the very best quality

Just as it is a fantastic feeling when you find the right car care product, it is the same when it comes to microfiber for the car, because there are an incredible number of different qualities within it. At Bachs Bilpleje Shop, I only deal with Premium and Super Premium quality of Microfiber, so you get the best experience.

Multi-purpose microfiber cloths

There are many different purposes, and here we are talking about everything from wiping down the interior, removing polish, removing Ceramic Coating, to wiping away water. It is a huge category, with a lot of different products.

Many of the cloths sold here in the shop can be used for more than just one purpose, but just like with car care chemicals, you can get cloths that are great for single purposes, instead of being an all-purpose cloth.

They come in different colors and sizes, so you can get the one that fits you perfectly. Just because I love having a huge microfiber towel with a high GSM doesn't mean you want the same thing and would rather have one that is large but not as heavy.

What is GSM?

GSM is the way microfiber is measured, by how many grams there are per square meter, i.e. how much it weighs. The more grams, i.e. the higher the GSM a microfiber cloth has, the softer and thicker it is, which makes them better at absorbing everything from hard wax, or at removing water from the surface of the car.

Premium or Super Premium quality?

Although it may be a bit silly to call it Super Premium, there is actually a difference between the ''regular'' Premium and this type. All the microfiber products you find on our site are of the highest quality, but those that are classified as Super Premium have received a little extra love with the selection of base materials from which the cloths are made.

The great thing is that no matter which one you choose, you will have a fantastic experience. If you want the best and budget is not an issue, Super Premium is the one to look for, and if you want the best but without blowing your budget, then Premium is not a ''budget item'', it is still incredible quality.

Simon's favorites

Whether you choose one or the other microfiber towel, or cloth to remove coating with, you will end up having a favorite, even if another cloth can do the job.

I simply love The 1500 , and that's because it's big, has lots of GSM and it's RED, I simply love red cloths, I never have to worry about whether it can dry, because it just can. Throw it over the paint, and pull it towards you, and boom dry!

If it's for door seals, rims or even all the way down to the bottom of the car's panels, my favorite is Liquid8r in the smaller sizes.

Divide your microfiber cloths

Since microfiber cloths can be used for almost everything that has to do with a car, it is also a really good idea to divide it up and have some kind of system so that you don't create ''cross contamination'', meaning that the dirt from, for example, the rims comes over together with that from the paint.

But why is it even important? That's because microfibers are both great for cleaning, but that also means they absorb dirt, and some of this type of dirt is not 100% easy to remove. That's why I recommend that you NEVER use the same microfiber cloths that are used for dirty areas like rims or the engine compartment to wipe the paintwork afterwards.

This way you avoid making scratches in the wash as much as possible, the same applies when washing. I have divided my own cloths into the following categories, where they only stay in:

• Lacquer
• Rims
• Interior
• Glass

Don't throw away old rags

While it would be great if you threw out cloths so you could buy new ones, I'm more interested in helping you get the most out of your money, so I don't recommend throwing away your cloths until they're really worthless.

They can be reused for other places on your car. If you have cloths that have become too dirty, they can be used to apply or wipe tire shine, engine compartment or even door seams.

The same actually applies to cloths that have been used for ceramic coating, even though they contain coating that certainly makes them unsuitable for the car's paintwork anymore, they can easily be used to clean the interior or the engine compartment. The worst that can happen to these cloths is that they end up in the trash. But why not make the most of them before then?

Washing instructions

Never cross your microfiber cloths, and do not wash those that have been used for rims, together with paint cloths.

Machine wash with liquid soap that is free of fabric softeners, odors, color or bleach.

Tumble dry at low heat, & do not iron afterwards. Alternatively, it is recommended to hang them to dry on a drying rack.

Do not wash dark new microfiber cloths together with lighter ones to avoid the darker colors transferring their color to the lighter microfiber cloths.

It is recommended to use Enzyme Microfiber Detergent from Shiny Garage for best results, & this detergent is specifically designed to refresh your microfiber cloths.

NOTE: Microfiber cloths must not be washed at temperatures higher than 40 degrees, this is to prevent the microfibers from melting.
