Shiny Garage Monster Wheel Cleaner - Effective rim cleaner with color change

Monster Wheel Cleaner from Shiny Garage is the product you need when your rims need a little more intensive cleaning than usual. It could be anything from the fact that it's been a little too long since the last time, or that they need a deep cleaning.

You get a rim cleaner that creates the bleeding effect that comes from rust remover, which you've probably seen on YouTube or Instagram before. It makes your rims look purple/red where it runs/bleeds down the rim.

A little different than the other rim cleaners

There are an incredible number of types of rim cleaners, and Shiny Garage has fortunately made it very easy to navigate. They only have 2. One that can clean both your rims and tires at once, which can easily remove brake dust, but which is intended as a more maintenance product.

And then we have Monster Wheel Cleaner, which is a gel-based acid-free wheel cleaner, with rust remover in the recipe, which makes it clean your wheels better.

Due to its gel form, it is possible for the rim cleaner to work for a longer time on the surface without drying out. It also means that it sticks better, instead of the liquid running off like e.g. Wheel & Tire Cleaner does.

Why does it contain Iron Remover?

Although rim cleaners are much better these days than they used to be, the dirt that lands on them is primarily residue from your brake discs and brake pads. Unfortunately, both contain some form of metal that will eventually end up on your rims.

Even if you use a good rim cleaner, there will be places where you either don't get all the way into the corners of the rims, or where an even thin layer of fine metal residue builds up.

Using a rust remover safely dissolves these fine metal residues and rinses them away once dissolved. All of this metal residue also causes dirt to stick to the rim's surface, making them harder to clean and dirtier faster.

Here you simply get a product where you don't necessarily need both a rim cleaner and a rust remover separately.

Guidance

Make sure the surface of your rims is cool before washing them.

• Rinse them with water, possibly from a high-pressure cleaner.
• Spray Monster Wheel Cleaner evenly over the surface of the rims
• Let it sit for 2-3 minutes until the product starts to ''soak''
• Use a rim brush to clean the surface of the rim
• Rinse with plenty of water until no ''purple'' streaks appear.

ATTENTION! For chrome and polished rims, test in an inconspicuous area.
