Ultra Black Sponge is The Rag Company's answer to the incredibly popular Optimum Big Red Sponge, which has been further developed with a completely new foam technology that makes it suitable for both rinseless car washes and for use with traditional car shampoo.

This new type of sponge is even softer and has a better ergonomic grip, making it easier to hold and a real pleasure to use. Whether you are into rinse-free car washing or the traditional way, this is the sponge that can do it all.

The washing sponge is designed with cutouts that ensure that when it is moved over the car's surface, dirt and grime are sucked in between the grooves, giving you a ''new surface'' to clean the car with.

The dirt stays inside these grooves until it is released down into your wash bucket.

Although the Optimum Big Red Sponge scores 10/10 for rinse-free car washing, the Ultra Black Sponge is not far behind, with a score of 9/10. However, it has the advantage of being able to be used for more than just rinse-free car washing, which makes us classify it as the best washing sponge.
